Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Rathore has approved the upward revision of pension to meritorious sportspersons.


Under the revised rates, the rate of pension has been doubled off the existing rate of pension on winning medals in international sports events.


The revised pension rates are as follows:


• The medalists at the Olympic/Para-Olympic Games will now get Rs 20,000, double from earlier Rs 10000 per month.


• The gold medalists at World Cup/World Championship in Olympic and Asian Games disciplines will get Rs 16,000, which is also double from earlier Rs 8,000 per month.


• The silver or bronze medalists at World Cup or World Championship in Olympics and Asian Games disciplines and gold medalists in Asian Games/Commonwealth Games/Para Asian Games will now get Rs14, 000 from earlier Rs 7,000 per month.


• The silver and bronze medalist in Asian Games/Commonwealth Games/Para Asian Games will get Rs 12,000.


Other Details


The rate of pension of medal winners in the Para-Olympics Games and Para Asian Games will be at par with the medal winners in the Olympic Games and Asian Games respectively.


The World Championships held once in four years will only be considered for the pension.


In the case of existing pensioners, the revision in the rate of pension will be effective from April 1, 2018.


Under the revised scheme, it is highlighted that the sportsperson should retire from active sports career and be attaining the age of 30 years at the time of applying pension under the scheme.


An undertaking to this effect will have to be given by the sportsperson in the application form itself and the same has to be confirmed from SAI while forwarding application for verification of achievements of the applicant.

TAT HIGHER SECONDARY EXAM NOTIFICATIONS

Teacher Aptitued Test known as TAT is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TaT.[1] The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.

TAT was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve standards in . It was held for the first time in 2011.[2] For teachers already working, they are supposed to clear the exam in two years time.[3]

The exam is based on National Curriculum Framework. The people who have the professional qualifications of Teacher Training such as B.T.C (D.El.Ed), B.Ed, B.El.Ed are eligible to take part in the test. It's a mandatory qualification for one who wanted to be a teacher from Class I to class VIII. A candidate has to score over 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test.[4] The exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2.

RBI 2018 EXAM HOW WILL SELECTION
RRB 2018 Exam: Railway is going to offer massive jobs soon. Of the 90 thousand posts in which it is going to be examined, 26,502 posts are Group-C ie Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and technician. The rest of the post is for Group D. For this, about three and a half million candidates have applied. Here we are telling the complete process of selection on Technician's post:

This will be the process of selection on the Technician Post in Railway:
1. First Stage CBT (Computer Based Test)
2. Second-level CBT
3. Document Verification.

First Stage CBT
75 questions will be asked in 60 minutes at CBT of the first stage. To qualify for the exam, the general category candidates must earn a minimum of 40%, OBC candidates will get minimum 30%, SC to minimum 30% and ST candidates will get minimum 25% marks. In this, questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science and GK-Carter Affair will be asked. Only qualified people will get the opportunity to participate in the Second Stage CBT.

Second stage CBT
This exam will be of 150 minutes. There will be two parts in it. 90 minutes for Part A and it will have 100 questions. In order to qualify it, the general category candidates must also get minimum 40%, OBC candidates will get minimum 30%, SC to minimum 30% and ST candidates will get minimum 25% marks. Part A has questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science and GK-Carter Affair.

60 minutes will be given for Part B A total of 75 questions will be asked in this.
To qualify Part B, all categories of candidates will have to get 35% marks. The questions of trade syllabus in Part B will be seen from the website of Directorate of Employment and Training (DGET). Only qualification in this test will be necessary. When merit is created, its marks will not be joined.

Will there be negative marking in the Railway Examination?
Yes, there will be negative marking in both the first and second stages. For each wrong answer a third digit will be deducted. That is, one wrong digit will be cut when three wrong answers. There will be no negative marking in the computer based aptitude test.

Selection on Merit List in Railway Examination
Successful candidates will be called for document verification on the basis of merit list. There will be no interview in this.
